Choosing birthday flowers

Match the flowers to the person, not the occasion. A few quick rules our florists use:

  • Loves colour? Go bright – Mango Magic, Golden Glow or Blue Burst.
  • Soft and classic? Pinks and pastels such as Pretty in Pink, Bliss Pink or Think Pink.
  • Hard to buy for? A Florist Choice bouquet in their favourite colour (pink, purple, blue, white or red) lets our florists pick the best seasonal flowers on the day.
  • Big birthday? Step up to a luxe vase design or an arrangement in a box so it can go straight on the table at the party.

Bouquet or arrangement?

Bouquets are wrapped and need a vase. Arrangements come in a vase, box or ceramic and are ready to display – the easier option for workplaces and anyone who is out celebrating.

What to write on the card

Keep it personal and short: "Happy birthday – have the best day", "Another year more fabulous" or an inside joke only they will get. Sign it clearly so they know who sent it.

Delivery tips

  • Sending to a workplace? Include the business name, level and a contact number.
  • Planning a surprise at home? Add a safe place in the order notes in case no one answers.
  • Pair the flowers with a birthday balloon, chocolates or a teddy bear. Add-ons are delivered with the flowers.

Can I get birthday flowers delivered today?

Yes. Order by 3pm for same-day delivery across Sydney Metro, 7 days a week. Delivery is $19.95 within 25 km of our Greenacre shop and $45 for 25–40 km.

Can I add a balloon or chocolates to a birthday order?

Yes. Add a birthday balloon, chocolates, a teddy bear or a candle at checkout and it is delivered together with the flowers.

What if the birthday person isn't home?

Add a safe place or a neighbour in the order notes, or send the flowers to their workplace instead. Include the business name and a contact number so our driver can find them.

Will the flowers look exactly like the photo?

Each design is made fresh to order. The photo shows the style and colours; individual flowers can vary with the season, and any substitute is of equal or greater value.
