Flowers for the Fatiha

The Fatiha is usually held at the bride's family home, so the flowers need to make an impact in a living room. Large rose arrangements in a ceramic or glass vessel, for the entry and the main table, are the most popular choice. Try L'Amour ($359.95), Cherish ($369.95), La Rosa ($419.95) or Pure Elegance ($499.95). Read Fatiha flowers explained.

Flowers for the Katb Al-Kitab

For the signing, families often choose an all-white or blush statement piece, such as Ivory Elegance ($269.95), Blush Elegance ($349.95) or Soft Romance ($400), plus a bouquet for the bride. For signing-table, backdrop and venue styling, see Katb Al-Kitab floral styling ideas and our Fatiha & Katb Al-Kitab flowers page.

Engagement gifts for the couple and their families

Sending congratulations? A dozen roses, such as Rosa Dozen ($189.95) or Forever Red ($199.95), or a rose hat box like Love in a Hatbox ($349.95), make a beautiful gift. For the parents of the couple, grand designs such as Pink Floyd ($679.95), Abdo Grand Roses 50 Stems ($549.95) or 100 Stems ($1,049.95) and Ministry of Roses ($2,200) make a statement. Choosing colours

White, blush and soft pink are the classic engagement palette. Bold red suits families who prefer something dramatic, and gold-toned designs like the Golden Orchard Luxe Arrangement ($580) match gold décor. Send us a photo of the dress or theme and we'll match it.
