Why we use Colombian roses. After more than 40 years as florists, we choose 60cm Colombian roses because in our experience they last the longest. They have long, straight stems and large heads. Every design is made to order by hand in our Greenacre shop and delivered by our own drivers, so your roses arrive fresh.

How much do roses cost?
A dozen roses starts at $159.95, which works out at about $13 a stem. Bigger designs cost less per stem: our 100-stem Grand Roses work out at about $10.50 a rose. Delivery is extra, free in Greenacre and from $19.95 elsewhere, set by postcode at checkout.

Bouquet, hat box or vase?
A hand-tied rose bouquet is classic and perfect to hand over in person. A rose hat box, like the Classic Rose Hat Box ($169.95) or Love in a Hatbox ($349.95), arrives ready to display with no vase needed. A vase arrangement, such as Rose Fleur in a ceramic vase ($184.95), La Rosa ($419.95) or Pure Elegance ($499.95), is ideal for an office, a hospital or someone who has no vase. Cherish ($369.95) adds an orchid stem to the roses.
What are flexed roses?
Flexing is when our florists gently fold back the outer petals of each rose by hand, so it opens into a fuller, more luxurious bloom. Rosa Dozen, The Love Story and Cherish are made with hand-flexed roses. Our Colombian roses have long, strong stems and large heads, which makes them ideal for flexing.
How to make roses last
Trim 2 to 3cm off the stems at an angle, remove any leaves below the water line, and use a clean vase with fresh water. Change the water every 2 days and keep the roses away from direct sun, heaters and fruit bowls.
