Bouquets by colour

Pink is our most popular colour for birthdays, mums and partners. White and cream suit sympathy, weddings and anyone who loves a classic look. Blue and purple work well for men, new baby boys and graduations. Bright and yellow bouquets are cheerful for get well wishes and thank yous. Red is for love and romance.

Bouquet or arrangement?

A bouquet is hand-tied and wrapped, so it's lovely to hand over in person and the recipient arranges it in their own vase. If they don't have a vase, are in hospital or work in an office, a ready-to-display flower arrangement in a vase or box is easier.

How to make your bouquet last

1. Unwrap the bouquet and trim 2 to 3cm off each stem at an angle.
2. Remove any leaves that would sit below the water line.
3. Place it in a clean vase with fresh, cool water.
4. Change the water every 2 days, and keep it away from direct sun, heaters and fruit bowls.
